Report to the Teacher and administrators

Job Goal: To assist the teacher in achieving teaching objectives with individual students or small groups to help them achieve a proficient skill level.

 Responsibilities:

Work with individual students or small groups to reinforce learning of materials or skills introduced by the teacher.

Assist the teacher in devising special strategies of material or skills based on understanding of individual students, their needs, interests, and abilities.

Check notebooks, correct papers, and supervise testing and make-up work, as assigned by the teacher. 

Alerts the regular teacher to any problem or special information about an individual student.

Maintain a high level of ethical behavior and confidentiality of information about students as is expected of a teacher.

Participate in in-service training programs, as assigned or approved by the supervisor

Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor
